Oil
and Salt Contamination?
Generally
old buildings or barns suffer from this type of problem as usually no physical
type of damp proof course was ever installed. In barns the storage of farm
equipment, fertilisers and animals often exacerbated the problem. Traditional
render systems (due to extensive and time consuming preparation) often prove
expensive.
Solution:
ABOVE GROUND:
Newlath
2000 membrane can be applied directly to the walls to which a
rendered or dry-lined finish can be achieved. Being an inert material
the oil, salts and damp cannot penetrate the membrane and damage the
interior surface, the added advantage of the air filled cavity will
add to the thermal integrity of the new building.
If the substrate is uneven and
you require a uniform surface, it may use our Newton Frame System prior
to the membrane application. Please contact our technical
department for more information on the Newton Frame System product.
NOTE:
All our membranes will follow the existing contours of the wall.
