Gas barrier for new buildings?

With the extensive use of brown field sites, gas escaping from the ground has become a major problem for developers.

Solution:

Newton System 500 including - Newton 500 (8mm Stud) and Newton 520 (20mm stud) or Newton Geo-drain (with 8mm Stud and bonded filter membrane for exterior underground applications) provides the answer. These membranes have stud profile that makes a cavity with the building which allows the gas to flow freely beneath them to an escape point outside. Newton Slimline Flooring membrane can also be used.
