Newton
Baseboard is an alternative to
Newton Basedrain.
Newton
Baseboard
reduces the amount of work and mess involved in installing the
drainage channels and is less destructive to the existing floor/building
structure.

Water
ingress is captured within the hollow Newton
Baseboard section and diverted to available drainage
or a Newton Titan pump system.

The
property illustrated had been
tanked twice in a well known cementitious tanking membrane and
had flooded after both installations. The block protection wall
in front of the retaining wall was filling up with water ingressing
through the tanking and was seeping into the living environment.
18mm holes were drilled through the block wall at 100mm centers
40mm up from the floor to relieve the water pressure building
up in the cavity and the released water is now diverted via the
Newton Basedrain
into a Newton Titan pumping system and
discharged out of the structure.
